The Blue and Gold were short handed Monday night and lost to the Atlanta Hawks at home. Goga Bitadze, Malcolm Brogdon, Isaiah Jackson and Duane Washington Jr. are all questionable. McConnell and Ricky Rubio. Oshae Brissett is expected to return after being a late scratch Monday. Denver is 45-31, and beat the Pacers by three in one prior matchup in November. Indiana is 25-51, the most losses in a season for the franchise since 1989. The Nuggets are favored by 9.5 points, with tip off at 7 p.m. Eastern.
Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay announced Tuesday that former Colts offensive tackle Tarik Glenn will be inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor at Lucas Oil Stadium during a game this upcoming season. Glenn anchored the Colts’ offensive line from 1997 through 2006, and made three Pro Bowls during his 10-year career. The NFL also unveiled new overtime rules that will be used during the playoffs. Both teams will now be guaranteed a possession, instead of a potential for a controversial sudden death ending. If the score is tied after both teams have possessed the ball, the next score wins. The new rule was jointly proposed by the Colts and Philadelphia Eagles after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Buffalo Bills in the playoffs without the Bills possessing the ball in OT.
