The Great Washington Smoke Off is happening this weekend at Eastside Park in Washington.
There will be plaques and cash payouts totaling $1,700 awarded for best ribs, pulled pork, chicken, and people’s choice.
Cooking begins tonight with 15 Cooks competing for the prizes.

Food sampling for public will begin at 11:00 am and run through 12:30 pm tomorrow.
Awards and presentations will the follow at 1:00 pm.
Again, the cost is $5 for those who would like to sample smoked creations.
