Two people in Evansville were arrested on charges of neglect on Thursday after police say they found a pill press and other substances in a home where an infant was living.
Investigators say that 33-year-old Chelsea Arndell was living at the home with her child, who is under the age of 1.
44 news says when authorities got to the home, they found a pill press and Arndell admitted that she and another person had used it to make pills using a chemical that had been purchased from a foreign company.
The powder inside some of the pills tested positive for fentanyl. Police say they also found counterfeit pills that did not test positive for fentanyl. Court documents show the pill press was used to make counterfeit fentanyl and suspected Alprazolam pills.
36-year-old Elisha Dillingham was the second person arrested. He taken into custody because police say Arndell had a protective order against him. Dillingham is the father of the child.
