The avian flu is spreading to more ducks.
On Tuesday, the Indiana Board of Animal Health reported a second flock of ducks in Elkhart County has contracted the H5N1 avian flu.
That’s another 6,000 ducks that will have to be killed.
4,000 ducks were killed last week at the first farm n Elkhart County.
Last month, a few turkey farms in southern Indiana had an outbreak that resulted in over 170,000 birds having to be killed.
