A Jasper woman is charged with public intoxication.
Around 6:30 pm last night, Jasper Police officers received a call about a woman who had fallen with a head injury and an aggressive dog that would not allow anyone to assist her.
Officers and EMS responded to the parking lot at Vine Street Lofts to find the subject on the ground unable to get up.
Police say 59-year-old Sherry Fitzgerald-Pace showed signs of impairment and tested .235 on portable breath test.
She was medically cleared before being taken to the Dubois County Jail and charged with Public Intoxication.
