Indiana State Police have been called to investigate a shooting in Brown County where a police officer fired his gun.
Police were told that a person was displaying suicidal behavior on Wednesday, April 20, around 9:00 pm in Brown County.
Police say the man pointed a gun toward the officers not long after they got there.
One of the officers fired a shot and hit the man.
He is now in the hospital with serious injuries.
No one else was hurt.
