First Mid-States Corridor Public Hearing Happening Tonight

mid-states

The Mid-States Corridor Project Team will hold public hearings this week near Crane and in Jasper. Each will include a public comment period.
The first meeting will be held tonight at WestGate@Crane in Odon from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm. The next meeting will be held at the same time at the Jasper Arts Center this Thursday.
Both meetings will feature a presentation and comment period. Comments will be limited to two minutes per person and speakers will need to sign up on the night of the hearing prior to the comment period. Alternative P is the preferred route for the highway connection in southern Indiana. To make a comment online, or find more information, go to MidStatesCorridor.com/DEIS.
Comments can be made in person at one of the two public hearings, through a comment form at the Project Office, by mail, by email (info@midstatescorridor.com), or directly through the project website. The DEIS comment period runs through May 31, 2022.
The DEIS is a detailed document that summarizes the Mid-States Corridor project. Hard copies are also available for review at several area locations, including the INDOT offices in Vincennes.
