Norma Joan Lee, 92, of Washington went to her heavenly home on Sunday, May 1, 2022.
Joan was born in Washington, IN on April 20, 1930 to the late Ruth and Earl Arvin. She was married to the late John E. “Bud” Lee on April 17, 1949 and they spent many wonderful years together.
Joan and her husband loved going to antique shows and after his passing in 2012, she continued to go. She especially enjoyed cane chair repair, woodworking, and she was an avid I.U. Basketball fan. Joan was devoted to her family and her church and put them before all else in her life.
Those left to morn the loss of Joan are; her loving children, Judith Ann Simpson (Austin), Reba Sue Brendel (Scott), Cheryl Lynn Clark (Karl), and John M. Lee (Diana); eight grandchildren, Keri Hart, Lori Boswell, Eric and Ryan Brendel, Korbin and Kinsey Clark, Jessica Williams, and Brandon Lee; eleven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Brenda Mattingly (Mike).
She was preceded in death by; parents; husband, John E. “Bud” Lee; siblings, Don Arvin, Daryl Arvin, Jean Abel, Rita Jenkins, Ron Arvin, and Jack Arvin.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. with a service immediately following at Fredrick and Son-Gill Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sugarland Memory Gardens. Please make memorial contributions to Helping Hearts Hospice, 1314 E.
