Steven (Trapper) Joseph Fowler, 66, of Bicknell passed away Sunday, May 1, 2022 while at his residence with his loving family at his side.
Steve was born on May 21, 1955 in Vincennes, IN to the late Melvin Fowler and Margaret Marie Killon Fowler. He was married to Rebecca Robertson on February 19, 1978 in Ragsdale, IN.
Steve was a truck driver who had driven for several different trucking companies. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed; hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and riding his quad. He was known as N9ZPR on Ham radio.
Those left behind to mourn the loss of Steven include; his loving wife, Rebecca Fowler; sons, Steven Fowler II of Vincennes and James Fowler (Becky) of Vincennes; considered son, C.C. Enlow (Ashley); a sister, Gloria Kay Bass (David) of Ft. Branch; and two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by; his parents; a brother, Leon (Sunny) Raney; and sisters, Maxine Race, and Dolly Raney.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel at 1:00 P.M. with visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warriors Project, P.O. Box 758516 Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
