roadwork-2

You’ll be seeing lots of road projects in the coming months in and around Evansville.
Vanderburgh County commissioners have approved the use of $1.9 million for road improvements all over the county.
Most of the funding is going towards highway projects while the rest will be used for local roads and streets.
Commissioners say the estimated amount of work that needs done in the county is around $4 million so more funds will need to be allocated down the road.
The Vanderburgh County Council approved an additional $1.9 million on Wednesday, according to 14 News.
It’s expected the road projects all together will take years to complete.
