Joseph “Joe” Fields 71 of Vincennes, passed away at his residence after a long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on May 2, 2022.
Joe was born in Vincennes, Indiana on March 24, 1951 to the late Eva Bobe Fields and John Fields.
Joe was an employee at Schott, Pepsi, and KFC. Joe was known for his kindness and jovial spirit; he was always full of love for all and never met a stranger. He enjoyed; watching I.U Basketball, doing yard work, and working on and around the house. Joe was a devoted family man and put spending time with his family above all else. Joe was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the American Legion.
He is survived by; his loving wife, Janie Osborn Fields; devoted daughter, Natasha Fields Eckerle (Ryan); siblings; Lucinda Hatton, Rita Banzhof, Mary Shidler; several nieces and nephews; and two, grand-pups.
He was preceded in death by; his parents; and a brother, Johnny Fields.
There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Vincennes Chapel, with a Mass of Christian Burial following on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date. The family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl 17, Chicago, Il 60601.
