Area groups against the Mid-States Corridor will gather tonight for a meeting in Loogootee.
The Indiana Department of Transportation recently announced the preferred route for the project which would bypass Huntingburg and Jasper and run up into northern Daviess County near Crane.
Several groups will be at the meeting including The Coalition Against the Mid-States Corridor.
Loogootee Mayor Noel Harty will also be at the meeting which is set for 6:00 pm tonight at the St. John’s Center on Church Street in Loogootee.
