Robert E. Durham passed away from this life on Thursday, May 12, 2022, at the age of 91 in Bicknell, Indiana with his family by his side. He was born on June 11, 1930, in Vincennes, Indiana.
Those left to cherish his memories include the love of his life and best friend Marilyn Kay Dyhouse Durham, stepchildren, Rosemarie Woolard husband Jim, Trecca Neighbors, husband Sherman, Paul Wilks wife Angela, one sister Donna Sue Collison, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Paul Charles Durham, Mary Jane Greentree Durham, two sons, Robert Lee Durham, Gary Ray Durham, two brothers Charles “Jake” Durham, Jack Durham, and one sister Norma Stanford.
Robert E. Durham was a member of the VFW, Eagles, American Legion, and The Harmony Club all of Vincennes. He joined the United States Army during the Korean War. He married the love of his life on November 27, 1976, to Marilyn Dyhouse, they have been married for over 45 years. He loved his family very much. Fishing, watching westerns, and staying at home he loved to do. Traveled with his wife to California on a trip was one of best memories. He will be deeply missed by all.
Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
