A man from Indiana was arrested Sunday and charged with shooting a Kentucky police officer.
The Owensboro officer is expected to be okay.
The man was identified as Bronson Lindsey of Rockport and was in the Spencer County jail as of Sunday.
Owensboro Police said officers confronted Lindsey at a gas station Saturday evening.
He matched the description of someone police were looking for in a robbery case.
Lindsey is said to have pulled a gun and fired one shot, hitting the officer in the wrist.
After finding the patrol car in Indiana, several police agencies joined a search for Lindsey.
He was later caught and arrested.
