The North Daviess renovation project is close to wrapping up.
According to the Odon Journal, North Daviess Superintendent Jodi Berry reported on several updates at the school board meeting last month.
Berry said crews are close to completing work on the kitchen and cafeteria areas.
Tile work and other floor installation in these areas is expected to be finished by the end of next month.
Work in the library, auditorium, and common area are also nearing completion.
Berry also reported that an advisory committee has been formed to consider the facilities and future needs of shop and agricultural programs.
In addition, the school board approved Berry’s recommendation to apply for and accept available federal grants.
