Knox County Conducting Survey for Grant Application

Knox County is working on a survey for their ongoing Comprehensive Plan.
These plans create a road map for projects and goals over the next decade.
The county is now pursuing a $50,000 grant from the state to help fund the plan.
Officials say a door-to-door income survey will need to be conducted as part of the grant application requirements.
Officials are telling residents in Knox County that someone may come to your door seeking information for the survey.
These individuals are only looking for an income range – not an exact amount.
The survey must be completed by July 15th and will begin in a few days.
The Southern Indiana Development Corporation will be administering the grant application.
Roughly 50 homes will be visited.
