Our Community Foundation has awarded a grant to Washington Carnegie Public Library.
The Foundation says the grant will be used to help enhance virtual experiences for library patrons.
The grant will be used to purchase equipment to improve the library’s video productions that are available online and accessible virtually.
The popularity of virtual experiences has increased steadily since the pandemic.
Travis Schafer, Foundation Board member and Chairperson of the Foundation’s Grant Committee, says “The Foundation is pleased to support their efforts to improve these types of experiences.”
The grant was awarded through the Foundation’s mini grant program.
