Crews were dispatched the site of a multiple vehicle accident Tuesday morning.
The accident was reported around 7:30 am at Water Tower Road on SR 67.
The crash involved three vehicles and one of them was reported to be on fire.
There were multiple injuries and one entrapment. A coroner was requested at the scene.
In addition, a helicopter was called and landed about an hour after the initial crash.
Sheriff’s deputies asked motorists to avoid the area until about 11:00 am.
An ambulance from DCH assisted Knox County crews.
