It will be a busy weekend in Daviess County with the annual 4th of July Celebration at Eastside Park and the 50th Anniversary Celebration at West Boggs Park.
On top of those events, the Horse Progress Days event is happening at Dinky’s today and tomorrow.
The event is expected to bring in around 12,000 people each day.
The show will feature equipment demonstrations, activities for kids, as well as guest speakers and seminars.
This is a traveling event but has not been held in our area for nearly two years due to COVID.
Demonstrations will be going on all weekend.
That said, County Road 550 North from 900 East to 975 East is currently closed to traffic to accommodate visitors.
The road will reopen at end of day tomorrow, July 2nd.
