A Jasper man faces charges following a Sunday evening crash.
On Sunday, just before 8:00 pm, Jasper Police officers responded to a single vehicle accident involving a vehicle and a utility pole.
Officers identified the driver as 62-year-old Kurt Bies who was later found to be intoxicated.
Bies was transported to Memorial Hospital, where he submitted to a chemical test, and was found to have a BAC of .178%.
He was later taken to the Dubois County Security Center and charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated, Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with Endangerment, and Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated with a BAC over .15%.
