Your state will soon decide how far they will regulate abortion and former Indiana governor and vice president Mike Pence is pushing for what he calls pro-life laws. He may also be introducing ideas for a presidential campaign.
Pence visited a church in South Carolina in May, talking about what was then the potential overturning of Roe v. Wade. He also talked about Biden administration policies. He plans to visit South Carolina again, on July 20, to speak about post Roe politics and policies at Florence Baptist Temple.
Some of his potential rivals like Nikki Haley and Sen. Tim Scott are also visiting other states that vote early in primaries.
Haley and Scott have made separate visits to Iowa and Scott will be the key speaker at a fundraiser for U.S. Rep. Ashley Hinson in August in Sioux Falls, S.D.
Pence also spoke at the Reagan Institute in Utah last week.
“We discussed the future of the Pro-Life Movement in a post-Roe America, the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, and the reckless policies of the Biden Administration that are hurting hard-working Americans,” he Tweeted.
Pence has not announced for certain if he will run in 2024, and though the split between he and Pres. Trump has been public and obvious, he has sometimes been congenial when speaking of the former president.
