Daviess County Republicans will soon choose a new auditor for Daviess County.
The current auditor, Patty Ball, is leaving for a software company as her term was set to expire at the end of the year.
Ball has served the county for over a decade and has received high praise from county officials.
Yesterday was Patty’s last Commissioner’s meeting, and her last day in the office will be this Friday.
Tomorrow night, Daviess County Republicans will gather at the government center to choose someone to fill out the term.
