The Vincennes University Alumni Association is soliciting nominations for the 2022 Walter A. Davis Memorial Citation. All University alumni and friends are eligible to make nominations at any time. However, the deadline for the 2022 award nominations is August 14, 2022 at 4:30pm (EDT). Award nominations must be received by the Director of the VU Alumni Association, and late and/or incomplete nominations will be considered for the 2023 award.
Nomination forms may be completed online at vinu.edu/davis-dinner. Letters of recommendation from the nominator(s) and other supporting materials (resume, additional letters of recommendation, news articles, etc.) should be submitted with the nomination form. These supplemental materials may be dropped off at the VU Alumni Association, faxed to 812-888-5942, or sent via email to vualumni@vinu.edu.
The Walter A. Davis Citation has been presented annually since 1952 to a VU alumnus or a resident of the greater VU community. This award recognizes and promotes civic leadership, professional achievements, and, above all, outstanding community contributions.
