Indiana’s jobless rate in June totaled 2.4%…. one point-two percent below the nation’s rate of 3.6%.
The biggest job increases were in leisure and hospitality, financial activities, and manufacturing.
The state’s labor participation rate is up again in June, from 62.9% to 63.1%.
The total labor force in the state is just under 3.4 million– the highest level since just before the Covid pandemic, in February of 2020.
