Good news on the jobless rates in the area counties.
Daviess County’s unemployment rate in June was 2.5%, down from 3% in June of last year.
Martin County’s jobless rate last month was 2.4%, down from 3.2% in June of 2021.
In Knox County, June’s unemployment rate stood at 2.8%, down from 3.8% the year before.
Pike County had an unemployment rate of 3.1% in June, down from 4.5% in June of last year.
In Dubois County, unemployment for June stood at 2.3%, down from 3.0% from a year ago.
The average unemployment rate in June for all of Indiana’s 92 counties was 3.2%.
