Think Pink Continues to Support the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center. The Think Pink group based out of Robinson, Illinois continues to raise funds for the Good Samaritan Breast Care Center to assist patients who need help paying for a breast cancer screening. Since 2010, the group has raised more than $100,000 to support Good Samaritan patients.
Upcoming fundraisers include a Dine and Donate event at Texas Roadhouse from 3 to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, where 10% of the customer’s ticket will be given to Think Pink when showing the fundraiser flyer to the server. The flyer can be found on Good Samaritan’s Facebook page. To use the flyer, customers can print it and take it with them or show a picture of the flyer on their phone.
The group’s largest event of the year, the Think Pink Ride, will be on October 8. This year will be the 12th year of the ride. Registration begins at 8 a.m. CT in Robinson, Illinois at the Mach One parking lot, 301 W. Main Street, and the bikes roll out at 9 a.m. The route includes stops at the Good Samaritan Cancer Pavilion, Loogootee, Bedford, Linton, and back to Robinson. The cost is $15 per person.
