Sharon K. Stuffle, 83, of Loogootee, Indiana, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Heart to Heart Hospice Center in Evansville, Indiana, after a short and courageous battle with cancer. Sharon was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was born January 7, 1939 in Bramble, Indiana to Alfred E. and Mildred Marie (Crane) Inman. The 4th of 9 children, she loved her siblings very much. She married the love of her life, Norman Patrick ‘Pat’ Stuffle on August 2, 1958 and they reared 6 children together until his passing.
Sharon was a member of the Odon 2nd Mt. Olive Baptist Church. She dedicated her life being a homemaker and mother. Her children and grandchildren were her world. Sharon loved Jesus, flowers, watching sports, especially the Cincinnati Reds, and listening to gospel music. Pink was her favorite color.
Those left behind to honor her life and legacy include: her children, Gary (Trish) Stuffle of Parker, FL, Anita Stuffle of Loogootee, Brian (Nancy) Stuffle of Washington, Teresa (Harry) West of Jasonville, and Andrea (Jonathan) Mozingo of Washington; daughter-in-law, Vicki Stuffle of Newburgh; eight grandchildren, Ashley (Robert) Saladin, Andrew (Rebecca) Stuffle, Cory (Samantha) Stuffle, Alex (Rachel) Stuffle, Mark West, Cameron (Rachel) West, Isaac Mozingo and Alyssa Mozingo; six great-grandchildren, Abriana Saladin, Fletcher Stuffle, Raelyn Stuffle, Brantlee Hudson, Elizabeth West and Cooper Stuffle due in September; two brothers, Terry (Alice) Inman and Jack (Karen) Inman; three sisters, Sandra Sue Hunt, Charlotte (Lloyd) Resler and Pamela Clark; sister-in-law Rojene (Odis) Lainhart.
Sharon is preceded in death by; her husband, Norman Patrick “Pat” Stuffle; son, Bradley Dean Stuffle; infant great-granddaughter, Charlotte West; her parents, Alfred and Mildred Inman; Father & Mother In-law, James Burley and Marie (Hardwick) Stuffle; siblings, Alfred Junior (Joyce) Inman, Iris (Charles) Wagoner and Betty (Wilbur) Kelso; brother-in-law, John Hunt and niece, Diane Bradley. Also preceded by other aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 2nd Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Odon with Joseph Coquillard officiating. Sharon will be laid to rest in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Odon.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday at Meng Family Funeral Home in Odon and from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM on Saturday at the church.
