Two of the occupants were able to be freed from the vehicle and were transported for medical treatment with serious injuries. Unfortunately, the driver and two other occupants were pronounced deceased on the scene per Vigo County Sheriff John Plasse. Counseling services are being made available for students, faculty, and staff. The ISU women’s soccer match on Sunday was postponed to a later date due to the crash. Caleb Vanhooser was a freshman football player who has been identified as one of the deceased in the fatal crash early yesterday morning. Other names and details are being held at this time.
