The Daviess County Commissioners met Tuesday morning with a short agenda. Most of the meeting was taken up by the presentation of options for the planned renovation of the historic Court House.
Thursday’s update included pace requests from the departments of Daviess County’s justice system and three potential options. More meetings with stakeholders are scheduled as the commissioners eye a goal to bring all county justice-related departments to one campus. The goal is to have the project ready for bids by February.
In other business, the Commissioners approved a contract to secure a $253,000 grant for Adult Protective Services.
Also approved was a letter requesting the extension of a grant for the housing rehab project. The extension is needed due to contractors’ not being available.
