The Washington Times Herald tells us the last of the spots on the ballot for the November election are getting filled this week. Deadlines have already passed for partisan candidates to get on the ballot, and Friday at noon is the deadline for candidates to file for the non-partisan school board seats.
The seats that are up for election this year are Barr-Reeve at-large and district two, North Daviess at-large and district one, and Washington school board districts one, two, three, and four.
People looking to vote in November who are not registered still have time to get that done. Voter registration ends Oct. 11 and early voting will begin on Oct. 12. Early voting will end on Nov. 7 at noon, with election day set for Nov. 8.
People looking to register to vote can do so at the clerk’s office, the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles or online at Indianavoters.com.
