Elizabeth Ann (Tib) Moody
Elizabeth went home to be with the Lord on August 28, 2022. She was the daughter of Harold (Shorty) and Nellie Archer Meeks. She was born on August 30, 1940.
Tib was married to Harold Junior Moody on November 21,1964. They were happily married for 56 years until his passing on December 10,2020.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. Tib was happiest cooking huge meals and entertaining her family and friends at home and in her winter home in Florida. Tib had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. She helped everyone she could.
She is survived by her three devoted sons Reg (Mia) Moody, Rhett (Holly) Moody and Rusty (Candy) Moody. She has one granddaughter Shelby Moody and eight grandsons: Garrett (Sarah) Moody, Jace Moody, Casey (Abby) Moody, Cole (Alyssa) Moody, Lex Moody, Dane Moody and Adam (Ally) Moon.
Elizabeth loved her great grandchildren MaKenna Moody, Levi Moody, Callum Moody, Adrian Moon, Alexa Moon, Anson Moon, Waylon Moody and Awbrey Tatom.
A grandson Austin Moody is deceased.
Also surviving are two brothers Robert (Sue) Meeks and Cecil (Kim) Meeks and sisters-in-law Gloria Meeks and Angie Meeks. She has many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death was an infant sister Jacquelin Meeks, her parents, brothers Roy Meeks and Jake Meeks and sisters Judy Walker and Bette Fallin.
Tib was a member of Oaktown Christian Church and also attended Oaktown Church of Christ and Shaker Prairie Christian Church.
Her funeral arrangements will be Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Oaktown Christian Church with visitation from 1:00 P.M. until the time of service. Visitation will also be Friday, September 2, 2022 at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt, Oaktown Chapel from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. the family welcomes online condolences to be left at www.fredrickandson.com. The staff at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Homes, Oaktown Chapel are honored to be entrusted with Elizabeth’s arrangements.
