The National Weather Service has declared a Fire Weather Watch for the WAMW listening area. Most of Southern and Central Indiana, including Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, Pike, and Gibson Counties are in a Red Flag Warning Area. The warning runs from this morning through Friday evening. Despite the light scattered rain, with winds ranging from 15 to 25 mph, and humidity as low as 16% there is an extreme fire danger. Any fire that develops is likely to spread rapidly. Outdoor burning is not recommended.
