Foreign Holders of Agricultural Land Must File Report
The United States Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Director for Daviess and Martin Counties, Kathy Fears, is reminding foreign investors that they are required to report their land holdings and transactions to the Department of Agriculture. Foreign investors who buy, sell, or hold agricultural land of more than 10 acres, are required to file a report within 90 days of the transaction.
