John D. Stoll II, 68, of Loogootee, passed away Friday, November 11, 2022 at his home.
He was born September 14, 1954 in West Palm Beach, Florida to John D. and Barbara A. (Hornstein) Stoll.
John graduated from Wiesgaden High School in Germany in 1972. He then joined the Air Force and served honorably for two years. John was employed for nearly 37 years at NSWC Crane and retired in 2014.
He was a member of St. John the Evangelistic Catholic Church. He was a past volunteer firefighter in Odon and a past member of the Lions Club. John loved his grandchildren, gardening and working in his yard. He enjoyed his yearly vacation to Florida.
John was preceded in death by his father, John D. Stoll.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie R. (Flynn) Stoll of Loogootee; mother, Barbara Stoll of Loogootee; daughters, Amanda (Nathan) Pruss of Evansville and Sarah Stoll of Kalamazoo, Michigan; step-children, Heather (Kyle) Dauby of Jasper and Dustin (Ambyr) Brosmer of Loogootee; grandchildren, Alaina, Kyson and Cooper; sister, Peggy (Jerry) Padgett of Washington; brothers-in-law, Danny (Donna) Flynn and Tom Flynn, both of Loogootee; sisters-in-law, Diana (Kevin) O’Connor, Debbie Dills (Mike Meade) and Sharon (Mark) Sherer, all of Loogootee.
Services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
