The Daviess County Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Board has announced the date for the annual banquet. This year’s event will be Thursday, December 1st, at the Montgomery Ruritan Building. Several special awards will be presented, including the Business of the Year award, the Impact Award, the Dillon Tourism Award, the Hagel Award, and the Firestarter award. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., and dinner starts at 6 p.m. This year’s theme is Viva Las Daviess. To reserve your table, contact the Chamber office at 812-254-5262.
