The Christmas season is kicking off this weekend in the area.
Washington’s annual Christmas Parade will be held Saturday with a theme of “A Magical Christmas.”
The lighted parade starts at 6 pm, with line up starting at 5pm near NE 7th and Bedford Road.
Following the parade, Santa will visit with children at Home Building Savings Bank, 200 Northeast 2nd Street.
Also, the lights are shining bright in Washington’s Eastside Park in a festive mix of light and music.
The City of Vincennes’ 39th Annual Christmas in the Park will take place tonight from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Gregg Park on Washington Avenue.
Instead of the parade driving past you, you will be driving by the parade from the warmth of your own vehicle.
