Boys basketball on the airwaves of Shake Broadcasting tonight Razor Radio Sports will broadcast from Verne, IN as Ryan Haywood and the 4 and 2 Loogootee Lions take on the 4 and 0 South Knox Spartans of David Burkett.
On the General hear the 2 and 3 Barr Reeve Vikings and Josh Thompson host Aaron Hall and the 0 and 5 North Knox Warriors at the Big Ship. Both of those games with 7:30 tipoffs, pregame at about 7:15
On Memories 107.9, Gretchen Miles and the Washington Lady Hatchets host the Jasper Wildcats of Coach Brittany Manders. Washington comes into the game at 6 and 4 while Jasper is 2 and 5 on the season. Pregame show at approximately 7:15.

7th grade WJHS boys basketball team improved to 9-2 on the season with a 37-30 victory over visiting Ft Branch. Kayden Gross had 15 points and Jackson Howell 12 to led the Hatchet scoring. Jake Johnson had 4, Carter Browning, Darian Turner and Zach Frady all had 2.
The 8th grade WJHS boys basketball team (6-2) used a balanced scoring attack to take down Ft Branch 42-41. Aiden Boyd had 12 points followed by Jack Brower with 10, 9 each for Caleb Bouchie and Brody Armes and 2 for Levi Burkemper.
Both 7th and 8th will play again Thursday night at home vs North Knox.
The BR Jr. High Lady Vikings were back in action on Monday night at home against Orleans. The 7th grade won 16-6 in 2 – 8 minute quarters.
Their record is now 2-4. Anna Sward led the way with 6 points.
The 8th grade girls won 28-20. They go to 4-3 on the season. Paighton Parsons led the team with 11 points.
Both teams are back in action Thursday Night hosting South Knox team.

The Indiana Hoosier Men’s soccer team played in its 17th NCAA College Cup championship game last night and came away a 7-6 loser on penalty kicks.
After 15 seasons, Navy Football is moving on from Ken Niumatalolo who is the winningest coach in school history at 109-83, but after going 11-2 in 2019, Navy hasn’t finished above .500 since. The Midshipmen finished 4-8 for the second straight year.
Travis Kelce joined an elite group of tight ends in what was a historic Sunday afternoon at Empower Field. The Kansas City Chiefs star, with a huge 38-yard catch late in the first quarter of their 34-28 win over the Denver Broncos, officially hit 10,000 receiving yards in his career.
There is a new number one ranked team in College Basketball and that is the Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue picked up wins over West Virginia, No. 15 Gonzaga and No. 12 Duke in consecutive weeks to win the Phil Knight Legacy tournament earlier in the season. Wins over Hofstra and Nebraska last week, combined with a loss by Houston, were enough to move the Boilermakers to No. 1 the AP Top 25 for the second straight season. And in the women’s NCAA top 25 the Indiana Women continue to impress at 10 and 0 and remain ranked 4th in the country.
The IUPUI basketball team shot better than 60 percent from the floor and cruised past Spalding University 75-53 in a rare 11:00 a.m. Monday game. The game marked the program’s annual NCAA Readers Become Leaders Day as more than 3,000 third-graders were in attendance to celebrate the importance of reading at a young age.
Pacers host the Heat and lose 87-82. Buddy Heild leads in scoring with 19 points Myles Turner had 13 rebounds and Tyrese Haliburton had 6 assists.
