Charlotte Faye Junkin, 81, of Vincennes, passed away at 7:25 pm, Monday, January 9, 2023, at BridgePointe Health Campus.
She was born July 14, 1941, to Samuel Arthur and Mildred (Dedrick) Daffron.
Faye worked as a hairdresser for many years and had owned and operated Riverside Hair Fashion. One of her favorites games to play was bunko.
Surviving are her sons Jake Junkin of Vincennes, Jim Junkin and his wife Andrea of Vincennes, and John Junkin and his wife Kathy of Wheatland, her grandchildren, Jacob, Michael, Jenna, Chelsey, Kelsey, Joshua, Jessica, Dustin, Tabitha, and Samantha; along with several great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lester Junkin whom preceded her on January 3, 2012, an infant son Timothy Junkin; and siblings Rita McGuyer, and Arthur Daffron.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Friday, January 13, 2023, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, Broadway, Vincennes, with Pastor Trevor Murry officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Thursday at the funeral Home. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with Faye’s arrangements.
