The Washington Jr. High 7th & 8th Grade Lady Hatchets hosted Jasper lady Wildcats on Tuesday night. In the 7th Grade A game it was Jasper 40 Washington 6 7th Grade A TEAM Record 8-6
The 7th Grade B game, Jasper wins 23-18 7th Grade B TEAM Record 1-1
The 8th Grade Lady Hatchets would get the win over the Lady Wildcats 39-21 Win. 8th Grade Record 12-2 Both Teams Travel to South Knox on Thursday Night (1/12) 7th Grade Girls play at 6:00pm and 8th Grade girls to follow first game. Both Teams are HOME on Saturday (1/14) with a Round Robin hosting Tell City and North Posey starting at 11:00am.
The WJHS boys 7th grade basketball team fell to 15-3 with a 32-22 loss to Vincennes Clarke. Carter Browning led the scoring for the Hatchets with 9 points In the B game, the 7th grade boys picked up the victory 32-30. Jake Johnson led the scoring with 10 points. VIncennes:
The Hatchet 8th grade team improved to 10-5 on the season with a 42-41 win on the road against Vincennes Clarke. Aiden Boyd led the Hatchets with 17 points and Levi Burkemper had 15.
In the 8th grade B game the Hatchets fell 33-24. Drew Jones led the way with 16 points for the Hatchets.
Both the 7th and 8th grade play again at home on Thursday night starting at 6:00 against Bedford.
