A 14-year-old girl was arrested Tuesday for threatening to shoot another girl at Tecumseh. Investigators say the girl originally made the threat over the weekend, but it was reported to school staff at some point on Monday. The victim told police they received threatening messages on Snapchat, including one picture of a gun. This isn’t the first time police have had to deal with shooting threats at Tecumseh. A 13-year-old boy was arrested in December for also making threats over Snapchat. The police say the boy threatened to shoot up a school dance. In November 2021, a Tecumseh student was arrested for threatening to shoot several students. According to police, the student made the threats using two different Snapchat accounts.
