A Vincennes man has been convicted of child molesting. Knox County Prosecutor Dirk Carnahan says it took a jury less than an hour of deliberations on Wednesday before reaching a guilty verdict on 56-year-old Bruce Vanlue. An 8 man 4 woman jury convicted him of two counts of child molesting and one count of performing sexual conduct in front of a minor. The crimes occurred in 2016 and 2017. Carnahan says the trial and resulting conviction was one of several 2023 Circuit Court resolutions involving cases that are several years old. Vanlue was booked into the Knox County Security Center at 4:34 p.m. after the verdict. Sentencing will take place at a later date.
