The Knox and Daviess County Emergency Management Agencies will co-host a joint storm spotter training session in March.
This year, Daviess County EMA will be hosting the training session presented by the National Weather Service’s Indianapolis Office.
Anyone with an interest in severe weather safety and storm spotting operations is encouraged to attend.
First responders, amateur radio operators, and public safety officials are also encouraged to attend to receive a refresher and updated information.
The storm spotter training session will be held Tuesday, March 7th from 6:30 until 8:30 PM at the Daviess County Security Center, located at 101 Northeast 4th Street in Washington.
The training is provided at no charge and registration is not required.
