Several busy weeks are coming for Washington, with lots of visitors in town for area restaurants and shops. This weekend, the Lady Hatchets basketball team will be hosting their girls basketball shootout for grades 4–8. 43 teams will be in town for the 2-day tournament in all four gyms. The Hatchet House will also be hosting this year’s 3A Boys Basketball Sectional 31 tournament, featuring the Hatchets, Heritage Hills, Pike Central, Southridge, North Daviess, Princeton, and Vincennes. The tournament will begin on Tuesday, February 28th, and will last until Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday in Washington. Washington will also be the host site for the Regional and Semi-State this year March 11th and March 18th.
