The local Comforting Hearts Group, which is building a new all-inclusive playground at Longfellow Park, received some big news this week. Zella Taylor with the Daviess County United Way has announced that the United Way has secured a $20,000 grant to go towards the all-inclusive playground project. The project is expected to be completed this summer. The new playground will feature playground equipment for all to enjoy at Longfellow Park in Washington.
