Yesterday morning, the Indiana State Police arrested three suspects who were allegedly involved in an attempted murder in December 2022. After an investigation by ISP M/Trp. Stinson, warrants were issued for Jacob Burch, Dakota Hedinger, and Elizabeth Potts. Potts was arrested in January in Kentucky and later extradited back to Indiana, where she is currently in the Perry County Jail. Burch and Hedinger were arrested early yesterday morning by Indiana State Troopers and other law enforcement officers from various agencies. All three suspects are facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, conspiring to commit murder, and various felony-level battery charges. The victim, who was lured to an undisclosed location and repeatedly battered with baseball bats, suffered life-threatening injuries and had to be flown to Deaconess Trauma Center in Evansville. The investigation was assisted by various prosecutor’s offices and sheriff’s offices in Perry, Dubois, and Spencer counties, as well as local police departments.
