Human remains found by hunters in southern Indiana have been identified as those of Donald Westfall Jr., who has been missing since June 2018. Westfall was last seen in Chrisney, a town on the Indiana-Kentucky border, and his family has been searching for him since then. The remains were discovered by hunters looking for deer shed antlers in a rural area of Spencer County. State police held a press conference to identify the remains, but it’s too early to determine if there was any foul play. The family thanked everyone involved in helping find Westfall, and there will be a forensic examination in the coming days.
