The Indiana Department of Child Services is inviting the community to participate in a special event, Pinwheels for Prevention, to support children in Washington, IN. The event will take place at East Side Park on Friday, April 21st, from 4–7 p.m., rain or shine. It is organized in partnership with Prevent Child Abuse Indiana and the Kids First Trust Fund to recognize the critical role of the community in protecting Indiana’s most vulnerable youth. Attendees can enjoy free food, presentations, giveaways, and activities such as K9 presentations, face painting, and emergency personnel. There will also be tickets available for a chance to win bicycles, pack-n-plays, and other items donated by local agencies. Come show your support for the children in your community!
