Changes are taking place on Indiana highways as Governor Eric Holcomb introduces a campaign involving the state’s iconic “Welcome to Indiana” signs. These signs, located at state borders, are undergoing a transformation, replacing the well-known slogan “Crossroads of America” with the new motto “More to Discover Indiana.” Nineteen of these updated signs are set to be installed along interstates and US highways, and an additional 57 signs are scheduled to be in place by June 30th. Signs were erected on US 50 in Knox County on Tuesday, marking the beginning of this signage overhaul. The updated highway signage aims to highlight the diverse attractions and hidden gems that Indiana has to offer, inviting travelers to explore and uncover the many wonders within the state.
