Barr Reeve incoming 8th grader Lincoln Miller at the Indiana Golf Association Boys State Championships at the Purdue University course. Lincoln, the only junior high player in the field, shot a very impressive 86 on day 1. He had some trouble on the finishing 3 holes of his first nine but didn’t let that affect him and shot +4 coming in. Jasper senior Luke Shapard is in 35th place with a +4 75 in the 112 player field. Alex Holder a sophomore from Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger and Jacob Modleski a senior from Noblesville lead with -4 67’s after day one.

Practice rounds continue today at Sultan’s Run for the LPGA Senior Championship Tournament runs Thursday thru Saturday. 74 players in the field led by Karrie Webb Who will defend her title at the 3-day tournament. There will be no cut, and the Legends of the LPGA Players will compete for $400,000 including $60,000 to the winner. Single day tickets are only $15 or a 3 Day Tourney ticket is $40 Children 15 and under FREE with paid adult
In the College World Series it was a back and forth final series but the LSU tigers defeat the Florida Gators 3 games to 2.
