Southbound U.S. 41 closed near Oaktown on Thursday evening (June 29) due to a pipe failure under the roadway. Recent severe weather caused the pipe to fail and a void to open under the roadway. At this time repairs are expected to be made on Wednesday, July 5. U.S. 41 southbound will remain closed until repairs are complete.
The official detour during this time is State Road 58 to State Road 159 to State Road 67. Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure.
